Barcelona, Spain

Let’s go to Barcelona! On my trip to Barcelona I was in search of what Barcelona is known for, tapas and sangria. So, I went to Las Rambla to get my fill. I stumbled across this  small restaurant down a small alley steps away from the main walk. Santa Anna proved to be a good choice. After taking a quick look at the menu, I decided to go with patatas bravas as a tapas. Patatas bravas are cubes of fried potatoes topped with a spicy sauce, a staple in Spanish tapas. The charcuterie platter came with various cuts of pork and manchego cheese. The chorizo was amazing.  However, the winner has to be that big pitcher of sangria. You can’t see it in the picture, but  the sangria contained fresh pineapple and papaya. I was expecting just a glass, but obviously I don’t know my liter measurements. Not, only is this restaurant located in an historic district, it’s affordable as well. Check this restaurant out when your visiting Barcelona.
